World Premiere at ITMA Barcelona:

Picanol’s digitized insertion on rapier & airjet

AT ITMA Barcelona , Picanol has shown the world premiere of a brand new airjet machine, the OMNIplus-i, which represents a new benchmark in airjet weaving .

OMNIplus-i features a redesigned reed motion, optimized relay nozzle set up and can be combined with SmartShed, the fully electronically controlled shedding motion.

AT ITMA Barcelona, Picanol was proud to demonstrate an OptiMax-i weaving denim fabrics with almost fully digitized insertion.

Picanol was demonstrating a denim machine with insertion that has been almost completely digitized , as following features:

– Tension display (TED)

– The programmable filling tensioner (TEC)

– The Electronic Right Gripper opener (ERGO)

– The elimination of the left-hand side waste (ECO Fill 4-color version)
